    About

Clear Creek House Concerts is a neighborhood concert series for music lovers and live music supporters in League City, Texas and the surrounding area.

Sometimes you don't want to have to fight for parking, run with the herd, and shell out big bucks to see a show. We think house concerts are a win/win. Music lovers get serenaded in a small setting and the artists get to keep all the money. We host intimate shows in our living room.   We live in The Lakes of South Shore Harbour.

Each concert features a quality live music performance, and a donation of $  15.00 - 20.00  per person goes entirely to the musician(s) to help support their art. House concerts have become a primary source of sustainability for many musicians in today's changing digital music environment.

Doors open at 6:00PM   for us to socialize, share food, and mingle with the artist until 7:00PM . Address and food details are shared with committed attendees prior to each show.   Food is pot-luck -- bring a dish to share. There are two 45 minutes sets and there's a break in the middle to refresh beverages,  buy cd's and other merchandise.

As this is a CONCERT and not a bar gig, please arrive early for social hour and let's visit before the music starts.  Once the music starts, we will focus our attention on the artist.   Dress is casual.

The intimacy of the house concert is so compelling from both the artist's perspective and the audience's experience.   "We are excited to offer these concerts to the community as a way to build greater communication and shared understanding through music.  Oh, and, they are also a ton of fun!"  Come join us and see what it's all about.

                     Beth Wood

            February 3, 2018

                    Donation:

                      $ 20.00

We are so excited to bring Beth Wood to Clear Creek House Concerts on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 7:00pm.  Social hour starts at 6:00pm.

Some have called her music folk, pop, folk-pop, country-folk, Americana, etc. Beth prefers to say it is soulful, organic, free-range, barefoot music delivered through a high energy communicator of joy. Beth Wood is a modern-day troubadour and believer in the power of song. Her exceptional musicianship, crafty songwriting, powerhouse voice, and commanding stage presence have been winning over American audiences for twenty years.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram calls Beth “a superb singer-songwriter whose versatility discourages labeling.” Beth’s songs tell of life and love, stories of all kinds of folks she knows or has seen.

Beth Wood is a musical triple-threat — a thoughtful songwriter and talented multi-instrumentalist with a supple, soulful voice.

Washington Post

Wood is about as good as it gets if you appreciate the singer/songwriter genre. Charlotte Creative Loafing

Lord have mercy…Wood is a down-home, old-fashioned girl with a wicked streak.

…when you come across a recording like Beth Wood’s “The Weather Inside” you take note and recognize that this is the work of a genuine artist with a remarkable voice determined to make meaningful and lasting art.
